In group B, Alliance had a strong start to the tournament, beating Chinese EHOME. The second game of the series went on for 71 minutes, with Alliance closing the series 2-0. The biggest surprise of the tournament was certainly the last match of the day, in which Peruan Majestic Esports overcame Forward Gaming 2-1. How surprising this result actually was, stated the fact that the bookmakers gave Majestic only north of 10% chance of winning the series.
